Development is the only subcomponent at CHEMA established to focus specifically on gender and development issues, and to explore the connections between gender and development initiatives, and feminist perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>G<em>ender &amp; Development facilitator (Mr.Richard Libent) <\/em>aims to identify best practice and new ideas, and to make the links between theoretical and practical gender and development work in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0vision<\/strong> is of a world where social justice and gender equality prevail and where all women and girls are able to realize their rights free from discrimination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0goal<\/strong> is to ensure that every citizen practice, promotes gender equality and women&#8217;s and girls\u2019 rights.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ACTIVITIES<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gender mainstreaming in the project implementation<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all co- staff workers are gender sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>To carry out various training on gender issues at group level \/to famers like<\/li>\n<li>Family work load<\/li>\n<li>Family budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Causes of family conflicts<\/li>\n<li>Ways \/skills of family conflict resolution<\/li>\n<li>The importance of peace and love in the society\/family<\/li>\n<li>Courtship and Marriage<\/li>\n<li>Gender based violence<\/li>\n<li>Lobbying and advocacy of gender issues<\/li>\n<li>Decision making in the family<\/li>\n<li>Family life education<\/li>\n<li>Gender equality and empowerment<\/li>\n<li>Gender analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
